In the Republic of Uzbekistan, public life shall develop on the basis of a diversity of political institutions, ideologies and opinions. Ўзбекистон Республикасида ижтимоий ҳаёт сиёсий институтлар, мафкуралар ва фикрларнинг хилма-хиллиги асосида ривожланади.
No ideology shall be granted the status of state ideology. Ҳеч қайси мафкура давлат мафкураси сифатида ўрнатилиши мумкин эмас.
Democracy in the Republic of Uzbekistan shall rest on the principles common to all mankind, according to which the ultimate value is the human being, his life, freedom, honour, dignity and other inalienable rights. The Procurator-General of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall direct the centralized system of bodies of the procurator’s office. Прокуратура органларининг ягона марказлаштирилган тизимига Ўзбекистон Республикасининг Бош прокурори бошчилик қилади.
Bodies of the Procurator’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall exercise their powers independently of any state bodies, public associations and officials, and shall be subject solely to law. Ўзбекистон Республикаси прокуратура органлари ўз ваколатларини ҳар қандай давлат органлари, жамоат бирлашмалари ва мансабдор шахслардан мустақил ҳолда, фақат қонунга бўйсуниб амалга оширадилар.
Organization, powers and procedure for the work of bodies of the procurator’s office shall be specified by law. Прокуратура органларини ташкил этиш, уларнинг ваколатлари ва фаолият кўрсатиш тартиби қонун билан белгиланади.
