Your Lord is the Forgiver, Possessor of Mercy. Were He to call them to account for what they have earned, He would have hastened the punishment for them. Then you came back, as ordained, O Moses. 40Ўшанда опанг юриб бориб: «У (Мусо)ни кафилликка оладиганларга далолат қилайми?« деган эди. Бас, Биз сени кўзи қувониши ва хафа бўлмаслиги учун онангга қайтардик. Ва бир жонни ўлдирдинг. Бас, Биз сени ғамдан қутқардик ва турли синовлар ила синадик. So Moses returned to his people, angry and disappointed. He said, “O my people, did your Lord not promise you a good promise? Was the time too long for you? Or did you want wrath from your Lord to descend upon you, so you broke your promise to me?” 86Бас, Мусо қавмига ғазабланган, афсусланган ҳолда қайтди. У: «Эй қавмим, Роббингиз сизга яхши ваъда қилмаганмиди?! Сизларга замон узоқ кўриндими ёки бошингизга Роббингиздан ғазаб тушишини хоҳладингизми?! Менга берган ваъдага хилоф қилибсиз?!» деди.
He said, “Son of my mother, do not seize me by my beard or my head. I feared you would say, `You have caused division among the Children of Israel, and did not regard my word.'“ 94У: «Эй онамнинг ўғли, соч­соқолимдан тутма. Мен сенинг: «Бани Исроилни тафриқага солибсан, гапимга кирмабсан, дейишингдан қўрқдим», деди.
He said, “I saw what they did not see, so I grasped a handful from the Messenger’s traces, and I flung it away. Thus my soul prompted me.” 96У: «Улар кўрмаган нарсани кўрдим. Бас, Расулнинг изидан бир сиқим олдим, сўнгра уни ташладим. Ҳавои нафсим менга шундай қилишни хуш кўрсатди», деди.
Thus We narrate to you reports of times gone by; and We have given you a message from Our Presence. 99Шундай қилиб, сенга ўтган нарсалар хабарини қисса қилиб берурмиз. Батаҳқиқ, сенга ўз тарафимиздан зикрни бердик.
On that Day, intercession will not avail, except for him permitted by the Merciful, and whose words He has approved. 109У кунда Роҳман унга изн берган ва сўзидан рози бўлганлардан бошқанинг шафоати фойда бермас.
