87. We gave Moses the Scripture, and sent a succession of messengers after him. And We gave Jesus son of Mary the clear proofs, and We supported him with the Holy Spirit. Is it that whenever a messenger comes to you with anything your souls do not desire, you grew arrogant, calling some impostors, and killing others? 87Ва батаҳқиқ, Мусога китобни бердик ва унинг ортидан Пайғамбарларни кетма­ кет юбордик. Ва Ийсо ибн Марямга равшан (мўъжизалар)ни бердик ва уни руҳул қудс билан қўлладик. Ҳар қачон Пайғамбар сизнинг ҳавою нафсингизга ёқмайдиган нарса келтирса, мутакаббирлик қилиб, баъзиларини ёлғончига чиқариб, баъзиларини ўлдираверасизми?!
120. The Jews and the Christians will not approve of you, unless you follow their creed. Say, “Allah’s guidance is the guidance.” Should you follow their desires, after the knowledge that has come to you, you will have in Allah neither guardian nor helper. 120Сендан яҳудийларҳам, насронийлар ҳам уларнингмиллатига эргашмагунингча ҳеч­ҳеч рози бўлмаслар. «Албатта, Аллоҳнинг ҳидояти ҳақиқий ҳидоятдир», деб айт. Агар сенга келган илмдан кейин ҳам уларнинг ҳавои нафсларига эргашсанг, сени Аллоҳдан (қутқарувчи) дўст ҳам, ёрдамчи ҳам йўқдир.
145. Even if you were to bring to those who were given the Book every proof, they would not follow your direction, nor are you to follow their direction, nor do they follow the direction of one another. And if you were to follow their desires, after the knowledge that has come to you, you would be in that case one of the wrongdoers. 145Агар китоб берилганларга барча ҳужжатларни келтирсанг ҳам, сенинг қиблангга эргашмаслар. Сен ҳам уларнинг қибласига эргашувчи эмассан. Ва улар бир­бирларининг қибласига эргашувчи эмаслар. Агар сенга келган илмдан кейин ҳам уларнинг ҳавою нафсларига эргашсанг, унда, албатта, золимлардан бўлурсан.
206. And when he is told, “Beware of Allah,” his pride leads him to more sin. Hell is enough for him—a dreadful abode. 206Агар унга, Аллоҳдан қўрқгин, дейилса, уни кибру ҳавоси гуноҳга етаклайди. Жаҳаннам унга етарлидир. У қандай ҳам ёмон ўрин­а?

275. Those who swallow usury will not rise, except as someone driven mad by Satan's touch. That is because they say, “Commerce is like usury.” But Allah has permitted commerce, and has forbidden usury. Whoever, on receiving advice from his Lord, refrains, may keep his past earnings, and his case rests with Allah. But whoever resumes—these are the dwellers of the Fire, wherein they will abide forever.

275Рибони ейдиганлар(қабрларидан) фақат шайтон уриб жинни бўлган кишидек довдираб турарлар. Бундай бўлиши уларнинг, тижорат ҳам рибога ўхшаш­да, деганлари учундир. 52. When Jesus sensed disbelief on their part, he said, “Who are my allies towards Allah?” The disciples said, “We are Allah’s allies; we have believed in Allah, and bear witness that we submit.” 52Ийсо улардан кофирликни сезиб қолганда: «Кимлар Аллоҳ йўлида менга ёрдамчи бўлади?!» деди. 83. When some news of security or alarm comes their way, they broadcast it. But had they referred it to the Messenger, and to those in authority among them, those who can draw conclusions from it would have comprehended it. Were it not for Allah’s blessing and mercy upon you, you would have followed the Devil, except for a few. 83Қачонки уларга эминлик ёки ҳақ тўғрисида бир иш–хабар етса, уни таратадилар. Аллоҳнинг фазли ва марҳамати бўлмаганда, озгинангиздан бошқангиз шайтонга эргашиб кетар эдингиз.
135. O you who believe! Stand firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even if against yourselves, or your parents, or your relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah takes care of both. So do not follow your desires, lest you swerve. If you deviate, or turn away—then Allah is Aware of what you do. 135Эй иймон келтирганлар! Адолат ила туринг ҳамда агар ўзингиз, ота­онангиз ва қариндошларингиз зиддига бўлса ҳам, Аллоҳ учун тўғри гувоҳлик берувчи бўлинг. Агар у бой бўлса ҳам, камбағал бўлса ҳам, Аллоҳ унга яқинроқдир. Ҳавои нафсга эргашиб, адолатсизлик қилманг. Агар тилингизни бурсангиз ёки юз ўгириб кетсангиз, албатта, Аллоҳ нима қилаётганингиздан хабардордир.
70. We made a covenant with the Children of Israel, and We sent to them messengers. Whenever a messenger came to them with what their souls did not desire, some of them they accused of lying, and others they put to death. 70Батаҳқиқ, Биз Бани Исроилдан мийсоқ–аҳднома олдик ва уларга Пайғамбарлар юбордик. Ҳар қачон уларнинг ҳавои нафсларига тўғри келмайдиган нарса келтирган Пайғамбарни: бир гуруҳларини ёлғончи дедилар, бир гуруҳларини ўлдирдилар.

77. Say, “O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion beyond the truth; and do not follow the opinions of people who went astray before, and misled many, and themselves strayed off the balanced way.”

77Сен:«Эй аҳли китоблар! Динингизда ҳаддан ошиб, ноҳақлик қилманг. Ва олдин ўзлари адашиб ва кўпчиликни адаштириб, тўғри йўлдан умуман чиққанларнинг ҳавои нафсларига эргашманг», деб айт.

111. “And when I inspired the disciples: `Believe in Me and in My Messenger.' They said, `We have believed, so bear witness that We have submitted.'“

112. “And when the disciples said, 'O Jesus son of Mary, is your Lord able to bring down for us a feast from heaven?' 56. Say, “I am forbidden from worshiping those you pray to besides Allah.” Say, “I will not follow your desires; else I would be lost and not be of those guided.” 56Сен:«Мен Аллоҳни қўйиб, сиз ибодат қилаётганларга ибодат қилишдан қайтарилганман», деб айт. Сен:«Мен сизнинг ҳавойи нафсларингизга эргашмайман. Зеро, адашган бўламан ва ҳидоят топганлардан бўлмай қоламан», деб айт.
150. Say, “Produce your witnesses who would testify that Allah has prohibited this.” If they testify, do not testify with them. And do not follow the whims of those who deny Our revelation, and those who do not believe in the Hereafter, and those who equate others with their Lord. 150Сен: «Аллоҳ мана шуни ҳаром қилганига гувоҳлик берадиган гувоҳларингизни келтиринг», деб айт. Бас, агар гувоҳлик берсалар, сен улар ила гувоҳлик берма. Бизнинг оятларимизни ёлғонга чиқарувчиларнинг ва охиратга иймон келтирмайдиганларнинг ҳавои нафсларига эргашма. Улар Роббиларига ширк келтирурлар.
159. As for those who divided their religion and became sects—you have nothing to do with them. Their case rests with Allah; then He will inform them of what they used to do. 159Динларини тафриқа қилиб, ўзлари гуруҳбозлик қилганлар билан ҳеч бир алоқанг йўқ. Албатта, уларнинг иши Аллоҳнинг Ўзига ҳавола. Сўнгра қилган ишларининг хабарини берур.
48. And the dwellers of the Elevations will call to men they recognize by their features, saying, “Your hoardings did not avail you, nor did your arrogance.” 48Аъроф эгалари сиймоларидан танийдиган кишиларига нидо қилиб: «Тўплаганингиз ва қилган кибру ҳавоингиз сизга асқотмабди­ку!
176. Had We willed, We could have elevated him through them; but he clung to the ground, and followed his desires. His metaphor is that of a dog: if you chase it, it pants; and if you leave it alone, it pants. Such is the metaphor of the people who deny Our signs. So tell the tale, so that they may ponder. 176Агар хоҳласак, уни ўша (оят)лар билан кўтарар эдик. Лекин унинг ўзи ерга ёпишди ва ҳавои нафсига эргашди. Бас, унинг мисоли худди бир итга ўхшайди, уни ҳайдасанг ҳам, тилини осилтириб тураверади, тек қўйсанг ҳам, тилини осилтириб тураверади. Бу бизнинг оятларимизни ёлғонга чиқарган қавмларнинг мисолидир. 47. And do not be like those who left their homes boastfully, showing off before the people, and barring others from the path of Allah. Allah comprehends what they do. 47Ва диёрларидан кибру ҳаво билан, одамларга риё учун чиқиб, Аллоҳнинг йўлидан тўсадиганларга ўхшаманг. Аллоҳ нима қилаётганларини иҳота қилгувчидир.
