| The President shall be regarded as having assumed office upon taking an oath of the following content at sitting of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan: | Президент Ўзбекистон Республикаси Олий Мажлиси йиғилишида қуйидаги қасамёдни қабул қилган пайтдан бошлаб ўз лавозимига киришган ҳисобланади: |

| 19) in exceptional cases (real outside threat, mass disturbances, major catastrophes, natural calamities, epidemics) in the interests of ensuring citizens’ security introduce the state of emergency on the entire territory or in the particular localities of the Republic of Uzbekistan and within seventy two hours submit the adopted decision for approval by the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. | 20) serve as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, appoint and relieve the supreme command of the Armed Forces of the post and confer the highest military ranks; | 20) Ўзбекистон Республикаси Қуролли Кучларининг Олий Бош қўмондони ҳисобланади, Қуролли Кучларнинг олий қўмондонларини тайинлайди ва вазифасидан озод қилади, олий ҳарбий унвонлар беради; |
| 22) rule on matters of citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan and granting political asylum; | 22) Ўзбекистон Республикасининг фуқаролигига ва сиёсий бошпана беришга оид масалаларни ҳал этади; |
| The nominee of the Prime Minister, while considered and approved of the nominee for the Prime Minister at the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, shall present a program of the Cabinet of Ministers for short and long-term perspectives. | Бош вазир лавозимига номзод Ўзбекистон Республикаси Олий Мажлисида унинг номзоди кўриб чиқилаётганда ва тасдиқланаётганда Вазирлар Маҳкамасининг яқин муддатга ва узоқ истиқболга мўлжалланган ҳаракат дастурини тақдим этади. |
| The nominee of the Prime Minister is to be considered as approved if it receives more than a half of total number of votes of the deputies the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and the members of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan. | Бош вазир номзоди унинг учун тегишинча Ўзбекистон Республикаси Олий Мажлисининг Қонунчилик палатаси депутатлари ва Сенати аъзолари умумий сонининг ярмидан кўпи томонидан овоз берилган тақдирда тасдиқланган ҳисобланади. |
| Members of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan are approved by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the proposal of the Prime Minister introduced after approval by the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. | Ўзбекистон Республикаси Вазирлар Маҳкамасининг аъзолари Бош вазирнинг Ўзбекистон Республикаси Олий Мажлисининг Қонунчилик палатаси маъқуллаганидан кейин киритилган тақдимига биноан Ўзбекистон Республикаси Президенти томонидан тасдиқланади. |
| Vote of no confidence to the Prime Minister shall be considered as approved, if not less than two-thirds of a total number of the deputies of the Legislative Chamber and the members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan respectively vote for it. In such case, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall make a decision on the removal of the Prime Minister from his post. | The procedure for the organization of the work and the competence of the Cabinet of Ministers shall be defined by law. | Вазирлар Маҳкамасининг фаолиятини ташкил этиш тартиби ва ваколат доираси қонун билан белгиланади. |
| The khokim of region and the city of Tashkent shall be appointed and relieved of his post by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with law. | Вилоят ва Тошкент шаҳар ҳокими Ўзбекистон Республикаси Президенти томонидан қонунга мувофиқ тайинланади ҳамда лавозимидан озод этилади. |
| The khokims of districts and cities shall be appointed and relieved of their posts by the khokim of the region and the city of Tashkent, and approved by the relevant Kenghash of people’s deputies. | Туман ва шаҳарларнинг ҳокимлари вилоят, Тошкент шаҳар ҳокими томонидан тайинланади ва лавозимидан озод қилинади ҳамда тегишли халқ депутатлари Кенгаши томонидан тасдиқланади. |
| The khokims of towns subordinate to district centres shall be appointed and relieved of their posts by the khokim of the district and appropved by the district Kenghash of people’s deputies. | Туманларга бўйсунадиган шаҳарларнинг ҳокимлари туман ҳокими томонидан тайинланади ва лавозимидан озод қилинади ҳамда халқ депутатлари туман Кенгаши томонидан тасдиқланади. |
| The organization of the work and powers of khokims and local Kenghashes of people’s deputies, as well as the procedure for the elections to the local Kenghashes of people’s deputies shall be regulated by law. | Ҳокимларнинг ва халқ депутатлари маҳаллий Кенгашларининг фаолиятини ташкил қилиш, уларнинг ваколат доирасини ва халқ депутатлари маҳаллий Кенгашларини сайлаш тартиби қонун билан белгиланади. |
