19. Or like a cloudburst from the sky, in which is darkness, and thunder, and lightning. They press their fingers into their ears from the thunderbolts, in fear of death. How can you deny Allah, when you were dead and He gave you life, then He will put you to death, then He will bring you to life, then to Him you will be returned? 28Аллоҳга қандай куфр келтирасизлар? 180. It is decreed for you: when death approaches one of you, and he leaves wealth, to make a testament in favor of the parents and the relatives, fairly and correctly—a duty upon the righteous. 180Сизлардан бирортангизга ўлим келганда, агар у бойлик қолдираётган бўлса, ота­онаси ва яқинларига тўғрилик билан васият қилиш тақводорларнинг бурчи сифатида фарз қилинди.
243. Have you not considered those who fled their homes, by the thousands, fearful of death? Allah said to them, “Die.” Then He revived them. Allah is Gracious towards the people, but most people are not appreciative. 243Диёрларидан ўлимдан қочиб чиққан мингларча кишиларнинг (хабарини) билмадингми?! Бас, Аллоҳ уларга, ўлинг, деди. Сўнгра уларни тирилтирди. Албатта, Аллоҳ одамларга фазл қилувчидир. Лекин кўп одамлар шукр қилмаслар.
258. Have you not considered him who argued with Abraham about his Lord, because Allah had given him sovereignty? Abraham said, “My Lord is He who gives life and causes death.” He said, “I give life and cause death.” Abraham said, “Allah brings the sun from the East, so bring it from the West,” so the blasphemer was confounded. Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. 258Аллоҳ подшоҳлик бериб қўйгани сабабидан Иброҳим билан Роббиси ҳақида ҳужжат талашганни билмадингми? Иброҳим: «Менинг Роббиим тирилтиради ва ўлдиради», деганда, у: «Мен тирилтираман ва ўлдираман», деди. Иброҳим: «Албатта, Аллоҳ қуёшни Машриқдан чиқаради, бас, сен уни Мағрибдан чиқаргин­чи», деди. 143. You used to wish for death before you have faced it. Now you have seen it before your own eyes. 143Дучор бўлмасингиздан олдин ўлимни орзу қилган эдингиз. Энди уни кўриб, назар солиб турибсиз.
154. Then after the setback, He sent down security upon you. Slumber overcame some of you, while others cared only for themselves, thinking of Allah thoughts that were untrue—thoughts of ignorance—saying, “Is anything up to us?” Say, “Everything is up to Allah.” They conceal within themselves what they do not reveal to you. And they say, “If it was up to us, none of us would have been killed here.” Say, “Even if you Had stayed in your homes, those destined to be killed would have marched into their death beds.” Allah thus tests what is in your minds, and purifies what is in your hearts. Allah knows what the hearts contain. 154Сўнгра, ғамдан кейин, сиздан бир тоифангизни қамраб олган мудроқни омонлик қилиб туширди. Бошқа тоифа эса, ўзи билан овора бўлиб, Аллоҳ ҳақида ноҳақ, жоҳилият гумонини қилиб: «Бизнинг қўлимизда нима иш бор эди», дейишди. Сен:«Ишнинг барчаси Аллоҳдандир», деб айт! Сенга ошкор қилмаган нарсаларини ичларида махфий тутарлар. Улар: «Агар қўлимизда бир иш бўлганида, бу ерда қатл қилинмас эдик, дерлар. Сен: «Агар уйларингизда бўлсангиз ҳам, қатл бўлиш тақдирида ёзилганлар ўз ўлим жойларига чиқар эдилар. Бу, Аллоҳ кўксингиздаги нарсани синаши ва қалбингиздагини яхшилаб поклаши учундир. Аллоҳ кўкракдаги нарсани ҳам билувчи зотдир», деб айт.
156. O you who believe! Do not be like those who disbelieved, and said of their brethren who marched in the land, or went on the offensive, “Had they stayed with us, they would not have died or been killed.” So that Allah may make it a cause of regret in their hearts. Allah gives life and causes death. Allah is Seeing of what you do. 156Эй иймон келтирганлар! Куфр келтирганларга ва ер юзида юрган ва ғозий бўлган биродарлари ҳақида, агар бизнинг ҳузуримизда бўлганларида ўлмас эдилар ва қатл қилинмас эдилар, дейдиганларга ўхшаманг. Буни Аллоҳ қалбларида ҳасрат қилиши учун айтадилар. Аллоҳ тирилтиради ва ўлдиради, Аллоҳ қилган амалларингизни кўрувчи зотдир.
168. Those who said of their brethren, as they stayed behind, “Had they obeyed us, they would not have been killed.” Say, “Then avert death from yourselves, if you are truthful.” 168Улар ўз биродарларига ва (урушга чиқмай) ўтирганларга: «Агар бизга итоат қилганларида қатл қилинмас эдилар», дейишди. Сен: «Агар гапингиз ростбўлса, ўзингиздан ўлимни қайтарибкўринг­чи», деб айт.
185. Every soul will have a taste of death, and you will receive your recompense on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever is swayed from the Fire, and admitted to Paradise, has won. The life of this world is merely enjoyment of delusion. 185Ҳар бир жон ўлимни тотгувчидир. Қиёмат куни ажрларингизни тўлиғича олурсиз. 15. Those of your women who commit lewdness, you must have four witnesses against them, from among you.
