148. In his absence, the people of Moses adopted a calf made from their ornaments—a body which lowed. Did they not see that it could not speak to them, nor guide them in any way? 169. They were succeeded by generations who inherited the Scripture and chose the materials of this world, saying, “We will be forgiven.” And should similar materials come their way, they would again seize them. Did they not make a covenant to uphold the Scripture, and to not say about Allah except the truth? Did they not study its contents? But the Home of the Hereafter is better for the cautious; will you not understand? 169Бас, улардан сўнг, ортларидан китобни меросга олган бир ўринбосарлар келдики, улар мана бу тубаннинг ўткинчи (матоҳи)ни оларлар ва «бизни кечирилади», дерлар. Агар ўшанга ўхшаш ўткинчи нарса келса, яна олаверадилар. Улардан Аллоҳга нисбатан фақат ҳақдан бошқа нарса айтмасликка Китобнинг аҳду паймони олинган эмасмиди?! Улар у(китоб)даги нарсаларни ўрганганлар­ку?! Охират ҳовлиси тақво қилганлар учун яхшидир. Ақл ишлатмайсизларми?!
172. And when Your Lord summoned the descendants of Adam, and made them testify about themselves. “Am I not your Lord?” They said, “Yes, we testify.” Thus you cannot say on the Day of Resurrection, “We were unaware of this.” 172Роббинг Бани Одамнинг умуртқа поғанасидан, қиёмат куни, бундан ғофил эдик, демасликларингиз учун, зурриётларини олиб, ўзларига ўзларини гувоҳ қилиб: «Роббингиз эмасманми?» деганида; «Худди шундай! Гувоҳ бўлдик!» деганларини эсла.
173. Nor can you Say, “Our ancestors practiced idolatry before; and we are their descendants who came after them; will you destroy us for what the falsifiers did?” 173Ёки: «Ҳақиқатда, ширк келтирганлар олдинги ота­боболаримиз, биз, уларнинг кейинги зурриётимиз. Ботил иш қилувчиларнинг қилмиши туфайли бизларни ҳалок этасанми», демаслигингиз учун.

53. That is because Allah would never change a blessing He has bestowed on a people unless they change what is within themselves, and because Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

55. Let neither their possessions nor their children impress you. Allah intends to torment them through them in this worldly life, and that their souls depart while they are disbelievers. 55Уларнинг моллари ва болалари сени ажаблантирмасин. Аслида, Аллоҳ ўша нарсалар сабабли уларни ҳаёти дунёда азоблашни ва кофир ҳолларида жонлари чиқишни хоҳлайди, холос.
85. Do not let their possessions and their children impress you. Allah desires to torment them through them in this world, and their souls expire while they are disbelievers. 85Уларнинг мол­дунёлари ва бола­чақалари сени ажаблантирмасин. Аслида, Аллоҳ ўша нарсалар сабабли уларни дунёда азоблашни ва кофир ҳолларида жонлари чиқишни хоҳлайди, холос.
95. They will swear to you by Allah, when you return to them, that you may leave them alone. So leave them alone. They are a disgrace, and their destiny is Hell; a reward for what they used to earn. 95Уларнинг ҳузурларига қайтиб келганингизда уларни айбламаслигингиз учун сизга Аллоҳнинг номи ила қасам ичадилар. 97. The Desert-Arabs are the most steeped in disbelief and hypocrisy, and the most likely to ignore the limits that Allah revealed to His Messenger. Allah is Knowing and Wise. 97Аъробийлар куфр ва нифоқда ашаддийроқ ва Аллоҳ Ўз Пайғамбарига нозил қилган нарсанинг чегараларини билмасликка лойиқроқдирлар. Аллоҳ билгувчи ва ҳикматли зотдир.
118. Also towards the three who were left behind. Then, when the earth, as vast as it is, closed in on them, and their very souls closed in on them, and they realized that there was no refuge from Allah, except in Him, He redeemed them, so that they may repent. 120. It is not for the inhabitants of Medina and the Desert-Arabs around them to stay behind the Messenger of Allah, nor to prefer themselves to him. That is because they never suffer any thirst, nor fatigue, nor hunger in the cause of Allah, nor do they take one step that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they gain anything from an enemy, but it is recorded to their credit as a righteous deed. Allah does not waste the reward of the righteous. 120Мадина аҳлига ва уларнинг атрофидаги аъробийларга Расулуллоҳдан четда қолишлари ва ўз жонларини кўзлаб унинг жонига эътибор қилмасликлари дуруст эмас. Зеро, уларга Аллоҳнинг йўлида ташналик, чарчоқ, очлик етса, кофирларнинг ғазабини чиқарадиган бирон қадам боссалар, душманга бирон зиён етказсалар, албатта, уларга солиҳ амал ёзиладир.
