42. God takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that have not died during their sleep. He retains those for which He has decreed death, and He releases the others until a predetermined time. In that are signs for people who reflect. 42Аллоҳ жонларни ўлими вақтида, ўлмаганларини эса, уйқуси вақтида олур. Бас, ўлишига ҳукм қилганларини ушлаб қолур, қолганларини маълум муддатгача қўйиб юборур. Албатта, бунда тафаккур қиладиган қавмлар учун оят­ибратлар бордир.
49. When adversity touches the human being, he calls on Us. But then, when We favor him with a blessing from Us, he says, “I have attained this by virtue of my knowledge.” However, it is a test, but most of them do not know. 49Бас, қачонки инсонни зарар тутса, у бизга дуо қилур. Сўнгра унга Биз ўзимиздан неъмат берсак: «Албатта, бу менга илмим туфайли берилди», дер. Йўқ! У синовдир. Лекин кўплари билмаслар.
50. Those before them said it, but what they had earned did not avail them. 50Батаҳқиқ, буни улардан аввалгилар ҳам айтган эдилар. Бас, уларнинг қилган касблари ўзларига асқотмади. 
51. The evils of their deeds caught up with them. And the wrongdoers among these will also be afflicted by the evils of what they earned, and they cannot prevent it. 51Бас, уларга қилган касбларининг ёмонликлари мусибат бўлди. Анавилардан зулм қилганларига ҳам тезда қилган касбларининг ёмонликлари мусибат бўлур. Улар қочиб қутулгувчи ҳам эмаслар.
59. Yes indeed! My Verses did come to you, but you called them lies, turned arrogant, and were of the faithless. 59«Йўқ! Батаҳқиқ, сенга Менинг оятларим келди. Бас, сен уларни ёлғонга чиқардинг, мутакаббирлик қилдинг ва кофирлардан бўлдинг!» дейди.
68. And the Trumpet will be sounded, whereupon everyone in the heavens and the earth will be stunned, except whomever God wills. Then it will be sounded another time, whereupon they will rise up, looking on. 68Ва сурга пуфланди. Осмонлару ерда ким бўлса, қулаб ўлди. Магар Аллоҳ хоҳлаганларгина қолди. Сўнгра унга яна бир бор пуфланди. Бас, тўсатдан улар туриб интизор бўлурлар.
72. It will be said, “Enter the gates of Hell, to abide therein eternally.” How wretched is the destination of the arrogant. 72«Жаҳаннам эшикларидан унда абадий қолгувчи бўлган ҳолингизда киринг», дейилди. Бас, мутакаббирларнинг жойи қандай ҳам ёмон бўлди.
73. And those who feared their Lord will be led to Paradise in throngs. Until, when they have reached it, and its gates are opened, its keepers will say to them, “Peace be upon you, you have been good, so enter it, to abide therein eternally.” 73Ва Роббиларига тақво қилганлар жаннатга гуруҳ­гуруҳ қилиб олиб борилдилар. Токи унга етиб келган чоғларида унинг эшиклари очилди ва унинг қўриқчилари уларга: «Сизга саломлар бўлсин! Хуш келдингиз! Бас, унга абадий қолгувчи бўлган ҳолингизда киринг», дедилар.
74. And they will say, “Praise be to God, who has fulfilled His promise to us, and made us inherit the land, enjoying Paradise as we please.” How excellent is the reward of the workers. 74Улар: «Бизларга берган ваъдасини рост қилган ва бизга бу ерни мерос қилиб берган Аллоҳга ҳамдлар бўлсин. Энди ундан хоҳлаган жойимизни оламиз», дедилар. Бас, амал қилувчиларнинг ажри қандай ҳам яхши бўлди!
4. None argues against God’s revelations except those who disbelieve. So do not be impressed by their activities in the land. 4Аллоҳнинг оятлари ҳақида фақатгина куфр келтирганлар талашиб­ тортишурлар. Бас, уларнинг юртларда айланиб юришлари сени алдаб қўймасин. 
5. Before them the people of Noah rejected the truth, as did the confederates after them. Every community plotted against their messenger, to capture him. And they argued with falsehood, to defeat with it the truth. But I seized them. What a punishment it was! 5Улардан олдин Нуҳ қавми ва улар кетидан келган фирқалар ҳам ёлғончи қилган эдилар. Ҳар уммат ўз Пайғамбарини тутишга қасд қилди ва ҳақни йўқотиш учун ботил ила мужодала этди. Бас, Мен уларни тутдим. Бас, Менинг иқобим қандай бўлди! 
7. Those who carry the Throne, and those around it, glorify their Lord with praise, and believe in Him, and ask for forgiveness for those who believe: “Our Lord, You have encompassed everything in mercy and knowledge; so forgive those who repent and follow Your path, and protect them from the agony of the Blaze. 7Аршни кўтариб турадиганлар ва унинг атрофидагилар Роббларига ҳамд ила тасбиҳ айтурлар, Унга иймон келтирурлар ва иймон келтирганларга мағфират сўраб: «Эй Роббимиз, раҳматинг ва илминг ила ҳар бир нарсани қуршагансан, бас, тавба қилиб, йўлингга эргашганларни мағфират қилгин ва уларни дўзах азобидан сақлагин. 
11. They will say, “Our Lord, you made us die twice, and twice you gave us life. Now we acknowledge our sins. Is there any way out?” 11Улар: «Эй Роббимиз, Сен бизни икки марта ўлдирдинг, икки марта тирилтирдинг. Бас, биз гуноҳларимизни эътироф этдик. Энди чиқишнинг бирон йўли борми?» дедилар. 
12. That is because when God alone was called upon, you disbelieved; but when others were associated with Him, you believed. Judgment rests with God the Sublime, the Majestic. 12Бундай бўлишингиз Аллоҳнинг ёлғиз Ўзига даъват қилинганида, куфр келтирганингиз, Унга ширк келтирилса, иймон келтирганингиз учундир. Бас, ҳукм олий ва улуғ Аллоҳникидир. 
14. So call upon God, with sincere devotion to Him, even though the disbelievers resent it. 14Бас, агар кофирлар ёқтирмасалар ҳам, Аллоҳга динни холис қилган ҳолингизда ёлборинг. 
21. Have they not travelled through the earth, and seen the consequences for those before them? They were stronger than them, and they left more impact on earth. But God seized them for their sins, and they had no defender against God. 21Ахир улар ер юзида юриб, ўзларидан олдин ўтганларнинг оқибати қандай бўлганига назар солмайдиларми?! Ўшалар улардан кўра қувватлироқ ва ер юзида асарлари кўпроқ бўлган эдилар. Бас, Аллоҳ ўшаларни гуноҳлари сабабли тутди. Уларга Аллоҳдан ўзга бир сақловчи бўлмади. 
22. That is because their messengers used to come to them with clear proofs, but they disbelieved, so God seized them. He is Strong, Severe in retribution. 22Бундай бўлишининг сабаби шуки, уларга Пайғамбарлари келар эдилар, улар эса, куфр келтирдилар. Бас, Аллоҳ уларни тутди. Албатта, у кучли ва иқоби шиддатли зотдир. 
24. To Pharaoh, Hamaan, and Quaroon. But they said, “A lying sorcerer.” 24Фиръавнга, Ҳомонга ва Қорунга. Бас, улар: «(Бу) сеҳргар ва каззоб», дедилар. 
33. The Day when you will turn and flee, having no defender against God. Whomever God misguides has no guide.” 33У кунда ортга қараб қочасиз. Сиз учун Аллоҳдан ҳеч бир қутқаргувчи бўлмас. Кимни Аллоҳ залолатга кетказса, бас, унга ҳеч бир ҳидоятчи бўлмас. 
34. Joseph had come to you with clear revelations, but you continued to doubt what he came to you with. Until, when he perished, you said, “God will never send a messenger after him.” Thus God leads astray the outrageous skeptic. 34Батаҳқиқ, бундан олдин Юсуф очиқ­ойдин ҳужжатлар ила келди. Бас, сиз у ўзингизга келтирган нарсага шак келтириб, туриб олдингиз. Ниҳоят, у вафот этган пайтда: «Аллоҳ ундан кейин Пайғамбар юбормас», дедингиз. Аллоҳ шундай қилиб, исрофчи ва шубҳачи бўлган кимсани залолатга кетказди.
