The Publication “Citizens’ Budget: 2024 Draft” has been prepared within the framework of implementation of the joint Project of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Financing for Sustainable Development in Uzbekistan”.

According to the forecast for 2024, which represents the basis for the draft budget and which is presented in the first section of the publication, the economic growth rates will be equal to 5.6-5.8%.  Бюджет лойиҳасининг асосини ташкил этувчи ва нашрнинг биринчи бўлимида келтирилган 2024 йилга мўлжалланган прогнозга кўра, иқтисодий ўсиш суръати 5,6–5,8 фоизни ташкил этади.

Reducing inflation remains the priority objective for the economic policy. According to the estimates of IMF experts, global inflation will continue gradual decrease, however, majority of countries are not likely to return inflation to the target levels until 20251. According to the updated estimates, inflation in Uzbekistan will amount to 9.5% at the end of 2023, and this value corresponds to the forecast. Inflation forecast for 2024 is 8-10%, while achievement of the target value of 5% is postponed to 2026.

And the Constitution, adopted at the dawn of our country’s independence, reflected the principles of ensuring human rights and interests as well as the political system, consonant with the will and aspirations of our people. 11. Those who perpetrated the slander are a band of you. Do not consider it bad for you, but it is good for you. Each person among them bears his share in the sin. As for him who played the major role—for him is a terrible punishment. 11Албатта, ифкни [иғво] келтирганлар ўзингиздан бўлган бир тўдадир. Уни ўзингизга ёмонлик деб ҳисобламанг. 22. Those of you who have affluence and means should not refuse to give to the relatives, and the needy, and the emigrants for the sake of God. And let them pardon, and let them overlook. Do you not love for God to pardon you? God is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 22Сизлардан фазл ва бойлик эгаси бўлганлар қариндошларга, мискинларга ва Аллоҳнинг йўлида муҳожир бўлганларга (нафақа) бермасликка қасам ичмасинлар, бас, авф этсинлар, ўтиб юборсинлар. Аллоҳ сизларни мағфират қилишини хуш кўрмайсизларми?! Аллоҳ ўта мағфиратли, ўта раҳмли зотдир».
30. Tell the believing men to restrain their looks, and to guard their privates. That is purer for them. God is cognizant of what they do. 30Сен мўминларга айт, кўзларини тийсинлар ва фаржларини сақласинлар. Ана шу улар учун покдир. Албатта, Аллоҳ нима ҳунар қилаётганларидан хабардордир.
