282. O you who believe! When you incur debt among yourselves for a certain period of time, write it down. And have a scribe write in your presence, in all fairness. And let no scribe refuse to write, as Allah has taught him. So let him write, and let the debtor dictate. And let him fear Allah, his Lord, and diminish nothing from it. But if the debtor is mentally deficient, or weak, or unable to dictate, then let his guardian dictate with honesty. And call to witness two men from among you. If two men are not available, then one man and two women whose testimony is acceptable to all—if one of them fails to remember, the other would remind her. Witnesses must not refuse when called upon. And do not think it too trivial to write down, whether small or large, including the time of repayment. That is more equitable with Allah, and stronger as evidence, and more likely to prevent doubt—except in the case of a spot transaction between you—then there is no blame on you if you do not write it down. And let there be witnesses whenever you conclude a contract, and let no harm be done to either scribe or witness. If you do that, it is corruption on your part. And fear Allah. Allah teaches you. Allah is aware of everything.

282Эй иймон келтирганлар! Маълум муддатга қарз олди­берди қилган вақтингизда, уни ёзиб қўйинг. Орангизда бир ёзувчи адолат билан ёзсин. Ҳеч бир ёзувчи Аллоҳ билдирганидек қилиб ёзишдан бош тортмасин. Бас, ёзсин ва ҳақ зиммасига тушган киши айтиб турсин, Роббига тақво қилсин ва ундан ҳеч нарсани камайтирмасин. Агар ҳақ зиммасига тушган киши эсипаст, заиф ёки айтиб тура олмайдиган бўлса, унинг валийси адолат билан айтиб турсин. Эркакларингиздан икки кишини гувоҳ қилинг. 286. Allah does not burden any soul beyond its capacity. To its credit is what it earns, and against it is what it commits. “Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not burden us as You have burdened those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with more than we have strength to bear; and pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Lord and Master, so help us against the disbelieving people.” 286Аллоҳ ҳеч бир жонни тоқатидан ташқари нарсага таклиф қилмас. Фойдаси ҳам касбидан, зарари ҳам касбидан. Эй Роббимиз, агар унутсак ёки хато қилсак, (иқобга) тутмагин. Эй Роббимиз, биздан олдингиларга юклаганга ўхшаш оғирликни бизга юкламагин. Эй Роббимиз, бизга тоқатимз етмайдиган нарсани юкламагин. Бизни афв эт, мағфират қил ва раҳм эт. Сен ҳожамизсан. Бас, кофирқавмларга бизни ғолиб қил.
144. Muhammad is no more than a messenger. Messengers have passed on before him. If he dies or gets killed, will you turn on your heels? He who turns on his heels will not harm Allah in any way. And Allah will reward the appreciative. 144Муҳаммад ҳам бир Пайғамбар, холос. Ундан аввал ҳам Пайғамбарлар ўтган. Агар у ўлса ёки қатл қилинса,орқангизга қайтасизми?! Кимки орқасига қайтса, Аллоҳга ҳеч зарар келтираолмас. Ва Аллоҳ шукр қилувчиларни мукофотлар.

When I heard ‘Be happy’ in calls to prayer

It struck me as an evil lure.

So I told the angel my personal myths;

They seemed to me more pure.

Қулоғимга ол бахт, деб эшитилган

Азонларни шайтоний деб ўйладим.

But playing with her hair, the angel said:

‘Your legends are needed no more!’

Her words buzzed noisily in my ears:

‘You’re swimming in blood and gore.’

3. If you fear you cannot act fairly towards the orphans—then marry the women you like—two, or three, or four. But if you fear you will not be fair, then one, or what you already have. 11. Allah instructs you regarding your children: The male receives the equivalent of the share of two females. If they are daughters, more than two, they get two-thirds of what he leaves. If there is only one, she gets one-half. As for the parents, each gets one-sixth of what he leaves, if he had children. If he had no children, and his parents inherit from him, his mother gets one-third. If he has siblings, his mother gets one-sixth. After fulfilling any bequest and paying off debts. Your parents and your children—you do not know which are closer to you in welfare. This is Allah's Law. Allah is Knowing and Judicious. 11Аллоҳ сизга фарзандларингиз ҳақида васият этиб, бир ўғилга икки қиз насибасича беришни амр этади. Агар улар иккитадан кўп (аёл) бўлсалар, уларга у (ота) қолдирганнинг учдан иккиси. Агар қиз битта бўлса, унга ярми. Агар унинг боласи бўлса, у тарк қилган нарсадан ота­онасининг ҳар бирига олтидан бир. Агар унинг боласи бўлмаса ва ота­онаси меросхўр бўлса, онасига учдан бир. 12. You get one-half of what your wives leave behind, if they had no children. If they had children, you get one-fourth of what they leave. After fulfilling any bequest and paying off debts. They get one-fourth of what you leave behind, if you have no children. If you have children, they get one-eighth of what you leave. After fulfilling any bequest and paying off debts. If a man or woman leaves neither parents nor children, but has a brother or sister, each of them gets one-sixth. If there are more siblings, they share one-third. After fulfilling any bequest and paying off debts, without any prejudice. This is a will from Allah. Allah is Knowing and Clement. 12Сизларга хотинларингиз қолдирган нарсанинг–агар уларнинг боласи бўлмаса– ярми тегади. Агар уларнинг боласи бўлса, сизга улар қолдирган нарсанинг чораги тегади. 46. Among the Jews are some who take words out of context, and say, “We hear and we disobey”, and “Hear without listening”, and “Observe us,” twisting with their tongues and slandering the religion. Had they said, “We hear and we obey”, and “Listen”, and “Give us your attention,” it would have been better for them, and more upright. But Allah has cursed them for their disbelief; they do not believe except a little. 46Яҳудий бўлганлардан калималарни ўз жойидан бузиб­ўзгартирувчилар бор. Улар тилларини бураб ва динга таъна етказиб: «Эшитдик ва исён қилдик, эшит, эшитмай қолгур ва «Роина» дерлар. Агар улар, эшитдик, ва итоат қилдик, эшит ва бизга назар сол, деганларида, албатта, ўзларига яхши ва тўғри бўлар эди. Лекин Аллоҳ уларни куфрлари сабабли лаънатлади. Бас, озгиналаридан бошқалари иймон келтирмаслар.
77. Have you not considered those who were told, “Restrain your hands, and perform your prayers, and spend in regular charity”? But when fighting was ordained for them, a faction of them feared the people as Allah is ought to be feared, or even more. And they said, “Our Lord, why did You ordain fighting for us? If only You would postpone it for us for a short while.” Say, “The enjoyments of this life are brief, but the Hereafter is better for the righteous, and you will not be wronged one bit.” 77Қўлингизни тийинг, намоз ўқиб, закот беринг, деб айтилган кимсаларни кўрмайсанми?! Уларга уруш фарз қилинганда, бирдан, бир гуруҳлари одамлардан худди Аллоҳдан қўрққандек ёки ундан ҳам қаттиқроқ қўрқишмоқда. Ва: «Эй Роббимиз, бизга урушни нега фарз қилдинг, бир оз ортга суриб турсанг бўлмасмиди?!» демоқдалар. Дунёнинг матоҳи оз,охират эса, тақво қилганларга яхшидир. Ва қилчалик зулм қилинмассизлар», деб айт.
84. So fight in the cause of Allah; you are responsible only for yourself. And rouse the believers. Perhaps Allah will restrain the might of those who disbelieve. Allah is Stronger in Might, and More Punishing. 84Аллоҳнинг йўлида жанг қил! Ўзингдан бошқадан масъул қилинмайсан. Мўминларни қизиқтир. Шоядки Аллоҳ куфр келтирганларнинг шиддатини даф қилса. Аллоҳ шиддати қаттиқ ва азоби ортиқ зотдир.
87. Allah—there is no god except He. He will gather you to the Day of Resurrection, in which there is no doubt. And who speaks more truly than Allah? 87Аллоҳдан ўзга ибодатга сазовор зот йўқ. У сизларни қоим бўлишида ҳеч шубҳа йўқ қиёмат куни, албатта, жамлар. Ким Аллоҳдан кўра ростгўйроқ?!.
122. But as for those who believe and do righteous deeds, We will admit them into gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they will abide forever. The promise of Allah is true—and who is more truthful in speech than Allah? 122Иймон келтириб, яхши амалларни қилганларни остидан анҳорлар оқиб турган жаннатларга киритамиз. Унда абадий–бардавом қолурлар. Аллоҳнинг ваъдаси ҳақдир. Аллоҳдан ростгўйроқ зот борми?
107. If it is discovered that they are guilty of perjury: let two others take their place, two from among those responsible for the claim, and have them swear by Allah, “Our testimony is more truthful than their testimony, and we will not be biased, for then we would be wrongdoers.” 107Агар икковларининг гуноҳлари билиниб қолса, ўринларига устиларига ноҳақлик тушган яқинлардан иккиталари ўтадилар ва Аллоҳ ила қасам ичиб: «Бизнинг гувоҳлигимиз уларнинг гувоҳликларидан тўғрироқ ва биз тажовуз қилмадик. Агар қилган бўлсак, албатта, золимлардан бўламиз», дерлар.

108. That makes it more likely that they will give true testimony, fearing that their oaths might be contradicted by subsequent oaths. So fear Allah, and listen. Allah does not guide the disobedient people.

108Ана шундай қилмоқлик, гувоҳликни ҳаққоний адо этишларига ёки қасамларидан сўнг раддия қасам бўлишидан қўрқишларига яқинроқдир. Аллоҳга тақво қилинглар ва қулоқ осинглар. Аллоҳ фосиқ қавмларни ҳидоят қилмас.
