The scientific article studies the chemical composition and properties of steel, microstructure, hardness and microhardness of surface hardening of cast steel samples and parts obtained by casting in earthen forms. The results of step-by-step measurement of the hardness of cast samples before and after thermal hardening treatment of hardening with subsequent release are given. It is proved that the optimal modes of heat treatment increases the abrasive wear resistance and durability of parts by 2-3 times.

The article describes the design of a solar dryer, with an ejector system for the effective removal of the pra released during the drying process. The use of a film-ceramic composite as an active element made it possible to obtain high performance even at minimum values of solar activity. The results of onion drying under various adverse weather conditions are presented. Based on the results of the study, recommendations and conclusions were developed.

This article presents the technology of using a lithium-fluorine-containing compound as a flux in the production of cast aluminum products of the AK7 brand. The effect of lithium-fluorine-containing compounds on the release of slag during the melting of aluminum was studied in the research work. Based on the experiments conducted in the laboratory, the conclusions of the researchers are made.
