In his speech, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution and laws is the most important criterion for building a democratic state in our country, along with strict and unconditional compliance with the Constitution and laws of the country of the acts adopted by government bodies as well as actions of officials at all levels. The President noted the need for the continuation of work to increase legal awareness and legal culture in society, to nurture children in this very spirit from a very young age. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted in his address that law enforcement agencies should become bodies acting exclusively in the interests of the people. Давлатимиз раҳбари ҳуқуқни муҳофаза қилувчи органларни фақат ва фақат халқ манфаати йўлида оғишмай хизмат қиладиган идораларга айлантириш зарурлигини таъкидлади.
The head of our state outlined urgent tasks in bolstering the independence of courts, in ensuring a system of checks and balances in the investigative-inquiry process, in improving the institution of the bar. The selfless work of our people, their support for the course of reforms is our foundation in bringing the national development to a new, higher level», the President has underscored. – Ҳаётимизни янада гўзал ва обод қилишда биз мўътабар отахон ва онахонларимиздан, уларнинг доно маслаҳатлари ва дуойи фотиҳаларидан куч-қувват оламиз. Миллий тараққиётимизни янги босқичга кўтариш йўлида мардона меҳнат қилаётган ҳурматли ака-укаларимиз, азиз опа-сингилларимизга – бутун халқимизга ишонамиз ва таянамиз, – деди Президент.
The President expressed his gratitude to each of our compatriots for their worthy work for the welfare of the country. He expressed confidence that the citizens will demonstrate high political wisdom at next month’s important political event. Давлатимиз раҳбари Ватан равнақи йўлида муносиб хизмат қилаётган барчага ташаккур изҳор этди. Келгуси ойда ўтадиган муҳим сиёсий тадбирда фуқаролар юксак сиёсий тафаккур ва маданиятини намоён этишига ишонч билдирди.
The successes of dekhkans and farmers, sportsmen and youth of the country were also noted. Деҳқон ва фермерлар, спортчилар, ёшларнинг ютуқлари ёдга олинди.
«Today, in Uzbekistan we are creating a social and truly people’s state, where kindness and compassion, generosity, mutual respect and harmony will be the norm of life. We must ensure that every person in our country, which for centuries has been famed for its spiritual values and humanism, feels the full attention and care of the people and the state», Shavkat Mirziyoyev has said. – Бугун биз барпо этаётган ижтимоий ва халқпарвар давлатда меҳр-шафқат, саховат ва ҳиммат, ўзаро ҳурмат ва ҳамжиҳатлик ҳаётимиз қоидасига айланиши зарур. Токи азалдан “одамийлик диёри” деб шуҳрат қозонган Ватанимизда ҳар бир инсон халқимиз ва давлатимизнинг меҳри ва эътиборини тўла ҳис қилиб яшасин, – деди Шавкат Мирзиёев.

Thanks to all the opportunities created for our country's Muslims, 15,000 of our compatriots are making the holy pilgrimage to Makkah during Eid al-Adha. We congratulate them all on this great holiday and ask the Almighty to accept their prayers for the prosperity of our Homeland, the welfare of our people, and the happiness of our families in these blessed days.

We will undoubtedly continue to focus on fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of our multinational and multi-confessional people, preserving and developing the traditions and values of all the nations and peoples whose representatives call this beautiful country their native land.
