The Ministry of Economy and Finance will continue publishing the information publication “Citizens’ Budget”, thus providing information to all interested users about the country’s budget, as well as about reforms and planned changes in the budget area. In the context of continuing geopolitical tension, as well as deceleration of the global economic growth and high inflation, the economy of Uzbekistan maintains sustainability. According to forecasts, economic growth rates will be equal to 5.6-5.8% in 2024. In the subsequent two years the economy is expected to grow at the rate of up to 6.2% in 2025 and 6.4% in 2026.

Over the past century, millions of people in Uzbekistan were forced to pick cotton. As it is well known, enormous efforts have been made in Uzbekistan in recent years towards developing and enriching national and spiritual values and ensuring freedom of conscience and religion.
