The Publication “Citizens’ Budget: 2024 Draft” has been prepared within the framework of implementation of the joint Project of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Financing for Sustainable Development in Uzbekistan”.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance presents the next scheduled «Citizens’ Budget” information publication which is dedicated to the draft State Budget for 2024.

Иқтисодиёт ва молия вазирлиги 2024 йил учун мўлжалланган Давлат бюджети лойиҳасига бағишланган навбатдаги “Фуқаролар учун бюджет” ахборот нашрини тақдим этади.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance will continue publishing the information publication “Citizens’ Budget”, thus providing information to all interested users about the country’s budget, as well as about reforms and planned changes in the budget area. The President of Uzbekistan stated that despite global challenges, our country is demonstrating stable growth rates. Over the past six years, the gross domestic product (GDP) has increased by more than one and a half times. The main goal is to double this indicator by 2030. Ўзбекистон Президенти мамлакатимиз глобал таҳдидларга қарамасдан, барқарор ўсиш суръатларини намоён этаётганини таъкидлади. Сўнгги олти йилда ялпи ички маҳсулот ҳажми бир ярим мартадан ортиқ кўпайди.    The poverty rate in the country has been halved since 2017 as a result of policy that directly aimed to improve the living standards of the population. It is planned to reduce it to 7% by 2030. The participants of the meeting were presented with the achieved results in the protection of human rights and the complete prohibition of forced and child labor in our country. Йиғилиш иштирокчиларининг эътибори мамлакатимизда инсон ҳуқуқларини ҳимоя қилиш, мажбурий ва болалар меҳнатига тўлиқ барҳам бериш борасида эришилган натижаларга қаратилди.

Our people have completely freed themselves from cotton slavery," emphasized the head of state. It is emphasized that international security is directly linked to the developments in Afghanistan. A new situation has emerged in that country, which requires special approaches. In his speech, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution and laws is the most important criterion for building a democratic state in our country, along with strict and unconditional compliance with the Constitution and laws of the country of the acts adopted by government bodies as well as actions of officials at all levels.
