40. O Children of Israel! 102. And they followed what the devils taught during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but it was the devils who disbelieved. They taught the people witchcraft and what was revealed in Babylon to the two angels Harut and Marut. They did not teach anybody until they had said, “We are a test, so do not lose faith.” But they learned from them the means to cause separation between man and his wife. But they cannot harm anyone except with Allah's permission. And they learned what would harm them and not benefit them. Yet they knew that whoever deals in it will have no share in the Hereafter. Miserable is what they sold their souls for, if they only knew.

102 Ва Сулаймон подшолигида шайтонлар тиловат қилган нарсага эргашдилар. Сулаймон куфр келтиргани йўқ. Лекин шайтонлар одамларга сеҳрни ўргатиб, кофир бўлдилар. 105. It is never the wish of the disbelievers from among the People of the Book, nor of the polytheists, that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allah chooses for His mercy whomever He wills. Allah is Possessor of Sublime Grace. 105Аҳли китоб ва мушриклардан бўлган кофирлар сизларга Роббингиздан яхшилик туширилишини ёқтирмайдилар. 124. And when his Lord tested Abraham with certain words, and he fulfilled them. He said, “I am making you a leader of humanity.” He said, “And my descendants?” He said, “My pledge does not include the wrongdoers.” 124Иброҳимни Роббиси калималар ила синаб кўрганда, у уларни батамом адо этганини эсла! У зот:«Мен, албатта, сени одамларга имом қилмоқчиман» деди. У: «Зурриётимдан ҳамми?» деди. У зот:«Золимлар аҳдимга ҳеч қачон эриша олмайдилар», деди.
178. O you who believe! Retaliation for the murdered is ordained upon you: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the female for the female. But if he is forgiven by his kin, then grant any reasonable demand, and pay with good will. This is a concession from your Lord, and a mercy. But whoever commits aggression after that, a painful torment awaits him. 178Эй иймон келтирганлар! Сизга ўлдирилганлар учун қасос фарз қилинди: ҳурга ҳур, қулга қул, аёлга аёл. 213. Humanity used to be one community; then Allah sent the prophets, bringing good news and giving warnings. And He sent down with them the Scripture, with the truth, to judge between people regarding their differences. But none differed over it except those who were given it—after the proofs had come to them—out of mutual envy between them. Then Allah guided those who believed to the truth they had disputed, in accordance with His will. Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path. 213Одамлар бир миллат эдилар. Бас, Аллоҳ хушхабар ва огоҳлантириш берувчи Набийларни юборди ва уларга одамлар ўртасида, улар ихтилоф қилган нарсаларда ҳукм қилиш учун ҳақ китоб туширди. У тўғрисида ихтилофни очиқ ҳужжатлар келгандан сўнг, кимга берилган бўлса, ўшаларгина ҳаддан ошиб қилдилар. Иймон келтирганларни ҳақ тўғрисида ихтилоф қилган нарсаларида Аллоҳ Ўз изни ила ҳидоятга солади. Аллоҳ кимни хоҳласа, тўғри йўлга бошлайди.
247. Their prophet said to them, “Allah has appointed Saul to be your king.” They said, “How can he have authority over us, when we are more worthy of authority than he, and he was not given plenty of wealth?” He said, “Allah has chosen him over you, and has increased him in knowledge and stature.” Allah bestows His sovereignty upon whomever He wills. Allah is Embracing and Knowing. 247Набийлари уларга: «Албатта, Аллоҳ Толутни сизга подшоҳ қилиб тайинлади», деди. Улар: «У бизга қаёқдан подшоҳ бўлсин. Ундан кўра подшоҳликка биз ҳақлироқмиз. Қолаверса, унгакўпроқ мол ҳам берилмаган» дедилар. У: «Албатта, уни Аллоҳнинг Ўзи сизларга танлади ва илмда, жисмда кенглигини зиёда қилди. Аллоҳ подшоҳлигини кимга хоҳласа, ўшанга беради.Ва Аллоҳ кенг қамровлива билувчидир», деди.
261. The parable of those who spend their wealth in Allah’s way is that of a grain that produces seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. Allah multiplies for whom He wills. Allah is Bounteous and Knowing. 261Молларини Аллоҳнинг йўлида сарфлайдиганларнинг мисоли, худди бир дона донга ўхшайди. Ундан етти бошоқ ўсиб чиқади, ҳар бошоқда юзтадан дон бор. 269. He gives wisdom to whomever He wills. Whoever is given wisdom has been given much good. But none pays heed except those with insight. 269У зот кимни хоҳласа, ўшанга ҳикматни беради. Кимга ҳикмат берилса, унга кўп яхшилик берилган бўлади. Фақат ақл эгаларигина эсларлар.
55. Allah said, “O Jesus, I am terminating your life, and raising you to Me, and clearing you of those who disbelieve. And I will make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return; then I will judge between you regarding what you were disputing. 55Аллоҳ: «Эй Ийсо, Мен сени вафот қилдирувчи ва Ўзимга кўтарувчиман ҳамда куфр келтирганлардан сени покловчиман ва қиёмат кунигача сенга эргашганларни куфр келтирганлардан устун қўювчиман. Сўнгра қайтиш жойингиз Ўзимга, бас, ихтилоф қилган нарсаларингиз бўйича орангизда Ўзим ҳукм чиқараман», деганини эсла!
68. The people most deserving of Abraham are those who followed him, and this prophet, and those who believe. Allah is the Guardian of the believers. 68Албатта, одамларнинг Иброҳимга ҳақлироғи унга эргашганлар, мана бу Набий ва иймон келтирганлардир. Аллоҳ мўминларнинг валийсидир.
153. Remember when you fled, not caring for anyone, even though the Messenger was calling you from your rear. Then He repaid you with sorrow upon sorrow, so that you would not grieve over what you missed, or for what afflicted you. Allah is Informed of what you do. 153Пайғамбар ортингиздан чақириб турса ҳам, ҳеч кимга қарамай тирқираб қочганингизни эсланг. Ўтган нарсага ва етган мусибатга хафа бўлмаслигингиз учун сизга ғам устига ғам берди. Аллоҳ қилаётган амалларингиздан хабардор зотдир.

When I heard ‘Be happy’ in calls to prayer

It struck me as an evil lure.

So I told the angel my personal myths;

They seemed to me more pure.

Қулоғимга ол бахт, деб эшитилган

Азонларни шайтоний деб ўйладим.

Шунинг учун бахт берган малакка

Турли-туман афсоналар сўйладим.

But playing with her hair, the angel said:

‘Your legends are needed no more!’

Her words buzzed noisily in my ears:

‘You’re swimming in blood and gore.’
