| Before applying safeguard measures, the Contracting Party intending to apply such measure shall supply the other Contracting Party with all the relevant information required for a thorough examination of the situation with a view to seeking an acceptable solution to both of the Contracting Parties. In order to find such a solution, the Contracting Parties shall immediately hold consultations as set out in Article 19 of this Agreement. For this purpose, they shall have the right to call for any evidence and to carry out any inspection of the exporter's accounts or any other check considered appropriate. The issuing designated/relevant competent authorities shall also ensure that the forms referred to in paragraph 2 are duly completed. In particular, they shall check whether the space reserved for the description of the products in Box.8 has been completed in such a manner as to exclude all possibility of fraudulent additions. | 5.
