In the context of continuing geopolitical tension, as well as deceleration of the global economic growth and high inflation, the economy of Uzbekistan maintains sustainability. According to forecasts, economic growth rates will be equal to 5.6-5.8% in 2024. In the subsequent two years the economy is expected to grow at the rate of up to 6.2% in 2025 and 6.4% in 2026.

Expenditures on preschool education in 2024 were planned in due regard of increasing coverage of children by preschool education up to 75%. It is planned to ensure full coverage of 6 year-old children by preschool education system by the end of 2025, and to increase coverage of children by preschool education up to 80%.

Thanks to the joint efforts of Uzbekistan and its neighboring countries, many issues related to state borders, transportation corridors, and water usage have been successfully resolved.
