Freedom of the press is the foundation of democracy and justice. It gives all of us the facts we need to shape opinions and speak truth to power. And as this year’s theme reminds us, press freedom represents the very lifeblood of human rights. Matbuot erkinligi demokratiya va adolat asosidir. U bizga fikrlarni shakllantirish uchun kerakli bo’lgan aniq faktlarni beradi. Bu yilgi mavzu esa matbuot erkinligi inson huquqlari uchun nihoyatda muhim ekanligini barchamizga yana bir bor eslatadi.
But in every corner of the world, freedom of the press is under attack. Shu bilan birga matbuot erkinligi dunyoning har bir burchagida hujumga uchramoqda.
Truth is threatened by disinformation and hate speech seeking to blur the lines between fact and fiction, between science and conspiracy.  Haqiqat dezinformatsiya va nafrat tili tahdidi ostida qolmoqda. Ular sabab faktlar va uydirma, ilm va konspirologik nazariya o’rtasidagi chegaralarni buzishga harakat qilishmoqda.
The increased concentration of the media industry into the hands of a few, the financial collapse of scores of independent news organizations, and an increase of national laws and regulations that stifle journalists are further expanding censorship and threatening freedom of expression.    Mediaindustriyaning bir necha kishilar qo‘lida jamlanishi, o‘nlab mustaqil axborot tashkilotlarining moliyaviy inqirozga uchrashi, jurnalistikani bo‘g‘uvchi milliy qonun va qoidalarning ko‘payishi senzurani yanada kuchaytirib, so‘z erkinligiga yanada ko’proq tahdid solmoqda.
Ten years ago, the United Nations established a Plan of Action on the Safety of Journalists to protect media workers and end impunity for crimes committed against them. O'n yil oldin Birlashgan Millatlar Tashkiloti OAV xodimlarini himoya qilish va ularga qarshi sodir etilgan jinoyatlar uchun jazosiz qolishga barham berish maqsadida Jurnalistlar xavfsizligi bo'yicha Harakatlar rejasini ishlab chiqqan.
On this and every World Press Freedom Day, the world must speak with one voice. Ushbu kunda va kelgusi Jahon matbuot erkinligi kunlarida dunyo hamjihatlikda harakat qilishi kerak.
Stop detaining and imprisoning journalists for doing their jobs. O'z vazifasini bajarayotganligi uchun jurnalistlar ushlanmasligi va hibsga olinmasligi kerak.

3. Forgiver of sins, Accepter of repentance, Severe in punishment, Bountiful in bounty. There is no god but He. Қайтиш Унинг Ўзигагинадир.

Those who carry the Throne, and those around it, glorify their Lord with praise, and believe in Him, and ask for forgiveness for those who believe: “Our Lord, You have encompassed everything in mercy and knowledge; so forgive those who repent and follow Your path, and protect them from the agony of the Blaze. 7Аршни кўтариб турадиганлар ва унинг атрофидагилар Роббларига ҳамд ила тасбиҳ айтурлар, Унга иймон келтирурлар ва иймон келтирганларга мағфират сўраб: «Эй Роббимиз, раҳматинг ва илминг ила ҳар бир нарсани қуршагансан, бас, тавба қилиб, йўлингга эргашганларни мағфират қилгин ва уларни дўзах азобидан сақлагин. 
26. Pharaoh said, “Leave me to kill Moses, and let him appeal to his Lord. I fear he may change your religion, or spread disorder in the land.” 26Фиръавн: «Мени қўйинглар, Мусони ўлдирай. Майли, Роббига дуо қилсин. Албатта, мен унинг динингизни алмаштиришидан ва ер юзида фасод чиқаришидан қўрқмоқдаман», деди. 
42. You call me to reject God, and to associate with Him what I have no knowledge of, while I call you to the Mighty Forgiver. 42Сиз мени Аллоҳга куфр келтиришимга ва ўзим билмаган нарсани Унга ширк келтиришимга чақирмоқдасиз. Ҳолбуки, мен сизни азизу ўта мағфиратли зотга чақирмоқдаман. 
55. So be patient. The promise of God is true. And ask forgiveness for your sin, and proclaim the praise of your Lord evening and morning. 55Бас, сабр қил. Албатта, Аллоҳнинг ваъдаси ҳақдир. Гуноҳинг учун истиғфор айт. Эртаю кеч Роббингга ҳамд ила тасбиҳ айт. 
61. It is God Who made the night for you, that you may rest therein; and the day allowing sight. God is gracious towards the people, but most people do not give thanks. 61Аллоҳ сизга сукунат топишингиз учун кечани, кўрсатувчи этиб кундузни қилиб берган зотдир. Албатта, Аллоҳ одамларга нисбатан фазлу карам соҳибидир. Лекин одамларнинг кўплари билмаслар. 
65. He is the Living One. There is no god except He. So pray to Him, devoting your religion to Him. Praise be to God, the Lord of the Worlds. 65У зот тирикдир. Ундан ўзга ибодатга сазовор зот йўқ. Бас, Унга динни холис қилган ҳолда дуо қилинг. Оламларнинг Робби Аллоҳга ҳамдлар бўлсин. (Аллоҳга холис бўйсунган ҳолда, шариатга тўла амал қилган ҳолда, иймон­эътиқодни ёлғону риёдан пок ўтган ҳолда дуо­ибодат қилинг. 
68. It is He who gives life and death; and when He decides on a thing, He just says to it, “Be,” and it comes to be. 68У зот тирилтирур ва ўлдирур. Қачонки бирор ишни хоҳласа, «Бўл!» дер ва у бўлур. 
4. Bringing good news, and giving warnings. But most of them turn away, so they do not listen. 4Хушхабар бергувчи ва огоҳлантиргувчи бўлган ҳолидадир. Бас, кўплари ундан юз ўгирдилар. Энди улар эшитмаслар.
