Reducing inflation remains the priority objective for the economic policy. According to the estimates of IMF experts, global inflation will continue gradual decrease, however, majority of countries are not likely to return inflation to the target levels until 20251. According to the updated estimates, inflation in Uzbekistan will amount to 9.5% at the end of 2023, and this value corresponds to the forecast. Inflation forecast for 2024 is 8-10%, while achievement of the target value of 5% is postponed to 2026.

10% increase in the PIT rate for individual entrepreneurs that pay the tax in a fixed amount; introducing minimum rent payment rates under contracts for gratuitous use of real property for individuals and under contracts for gratuitous use of real property for legal entities.

Expenditures of the State Budget for 2024 are planned to amount to 312,921 billion UZS, or 24.0% of GDP (in 2023, the expenditures of 282,133 billion UZS, or 26.6% of GDP, are expected). In order to promote economic growth, expenditures for implementation of sectoral development programs will be increased.
